National Meanchey University Hosts Lecture on “Learning to Become the Person Society Needs

Banteay Meanchey, January 19, 2026 – National Meanchey University (NMU) organized a lecture entitled “Learning to Become the Person Society Needs.” The event was held under the high presidency of H.E. Chea Seoun, Rector of National Meanchey University, and was attended by Mr. Yim Samnang, Deputy Governor of the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Administration, Venerable Pech Chansihea, Abbot of Khosatharam Pagoda (Srah Chak), along with university leaders, lecturers, staff members, and many students.

During the event, Venerable Pech Chansihea delivered educational guidance and encouragement, highlighting the importance of education, moral values, and self-discipline as key foundations for building a meaningful life and contributing to sustainable social development.

In addition, Mr. Yim Samnang presented a lecture focusing on the importance of goal-oriented learning, personal capacity development, work discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility. He encouraged students to continuously improve their skills and knowledge in order to become qualified human resources capable of meeting the needs of society and the labor market both now and in the future.
