Law Students Observe Court Hearing at Banteay Meanchey Provincial Court

Banteay Meanchey, March 11, 2026 – Seven law students (four female) participated in observing a court hearing at the Provincial Court and the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Court. The hearing involved cases related to illegal drug use, illegal border crossing, and online fraud. During the session, the students attentively followed the proceedings and recorded the practical legal procedures carried out during the hearing. They observed the arguments presented during the trial as well as the final conclusions delivered by the representative of the Prosecutor’s Office. This activity provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain firsthand experience and deepen their understanding of real judicial procedures beyond classroom learning. The university would like to express its sincere appreciation to H.E. Chea Soeun, Rector of National Meanchey University, and the President of the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Court for granting permission and providing this meaningful opportunity for students to learn through direct observation of actual court proceedings.
